history.........
The streetcar became to 9. September 1902 taken in enterprise. Originally two locomotives led, with one motor equipped was, the Strassenbahnwagons on, in order to be able to overcome the steep distance section. The maximum speed on the gear wheel section amounted to 7 to 8 km/h, while the motor coaches on the remaining distance reached a speed of 15 km/h. Due to the increasing transport numbers and the reduced achievement capacity those became Rack railway to 26. April 1928 by one Endless rope haulage system replaced. Since then the Passagierwagons is pushed by a tractor, at one condition-hurries hangs and of the stop Vetta Scorcola.
Originally the Trambahn had a central meaning for the development of the hinterland of Triest. Thus the Trambahn carried 1913 459,000 passengers, from whom a majority of the residents belonged to population. Today it lost its meaning as important means of transport for the native population and is now rather dependent as tourist attraction on high subsidies. By the Triestiner population however still highly estimated, becomes her in numerous Italian and Slovenian.
The line has been modernised several times over the years, most recently in 2005 and 2006. However it still uses the four of the five 1935 built tram cars, supplemented by two similar cars built in 1942. Two of the original four wheel cars have survived, and one sees occasional use as an operational museum car. New unmanned cable tractors were provided at the most recent rebuild, which are remotely operated by the tram drivers.

Very nice tram, I like it! I couldn't find any photographs on your homepage though, did you build the tram with functioning cablepart as well or just a model of the tram itself?
